Our History
- 2021 – Jeff Waltz follows in his father’s footsteps and is promoted to President of N.E. Bob Waltz Plumbing & Heating Inc.
- 2019/2020 – The family legacy grows as Jill Waltz joins the company to handle all administrative and office responsibilities.
- 2007-2018 – The team expands to be able to service the growing Frederick and Washington, D.C. suburb area.
- 2006 – Jeff Waltz, the 3rd generation Waltz, joins the company and brings experience of the trades and also finance, business, investments, and real estate.
- 2005 – N.E. Bob Waltz Plumbing & Heating Inc. earned its accreditation as a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer in Maryland.
- 1998 – N.E. Bob Waltz acquired Hydro-Aire Inc., a 30-year-old heating and air conditioning contracting firm specializing in custom sheet metal fabrication and Carrier heating and air conditioning products.
- 1975 – Robert F. Waltz joins the family business and the company expands its products and services for heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration.
- 1956 – Bob Waltz launches his own plumbing and heating service business with his wife Betty.
- 1945 – Norman E. Bob Waltz returns from the war in the Pacific and decides to pursue his career in plumbing and heating, attending numerous trade schools and programs on his G.I. bill.
